Fighting hunger and supporting the less fortunate is a constant need and a critical cause around the world, across the country and in our very neighborhoods. While this is emphasized especially during the holiday season, the truth is that it is a very serious issue all year round.

On January 23, 2010, Lowell and the neighboring communities are invited to get involved in a unique opportunity to make a difference in the fight against hunger.

The 1st Annual Empty Bowls will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Community Christian Fellowship in Lowell, MA. The Living Waters Ministry of Hope and the Lowell Hunger/Homeless Commission are hosting this informative and fun event. Attendees are asked to make a small donation, and each will receive a beautiful bowl of homemade soup. The bowl will be a keepsake and a continuous reminder of the need to fill empty bowls in the world. There will also be music and a raffle including donations from local artists, businesses and entertainment venues.

Enterprise Bank is proud to be a main sponsor of Empty Bowls. For more information, please visit the 1st Annual Empty Bowls online.
