Another Belle of the Ball Success

Enterprise Bank is proud to have once again joined Anton’s Cleaners and Jordan’s Furniture as a corporate partner and sponsor for the annual Belle of the Ball prom dress collection program. Thanks to your generosity, we collected 630 gowns for the program this year. Together, we were able to help make attending the prom less stressful for hundreds of high school students in our region.

Collection boxes were placed in all 27 Enterprise Bank branch locations and buildings within the Lowell Campus during February and March. The donated gowns are professionally cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners and distributed at no charge to high school junior and senior girls from more than 200 participating schools throughout MA and NH who could not otherwise afford to attend their school’s prom.

Teams of Enterprise Banker were amongst the 500 volunteers who helped make Boutique Day a success. Bank volunteers assembled goody bags for Boutique Day attendees and set up and organized displays of thousands gowns of all sizes and colors, plus shoes, purses, and accessories at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston the day before the event. On Boutique Day, held on Saturday, April 1, volunteers served as Personal Shoppers helping students find their prom dresses and taking them through the experience to pick out their accessories. Volunteers also helped distribute shoes, purses, and jewelry to the 1,000 students who attended the invitation-only event.

Alison Burns, Enterprise Bank Community Relations and Customer Experience Officer, SVP, and member of the Caring Partners Board, said, “Boutique Day is a success due to all the amazing volunteers. Seeing the faces of the students says it all especially as they take their walk down the red carpet in their prom attire.  So many Belles of the Ball!  The energy was fantastic, and everyone was smiling! This community effort aligns perfectly with our founding mission to help create vibrant, prosperous communities.”

Since the program’s inception in 2005, nearly 77,000 prom gowns have been collected and cleaned for local students in need. For more information about Belle of the Ball, visit http://antons.com/belle/.

Enterprise Bankers volunteered at the 2023 Belle of the Ball Boutique Day on April 1, 2023 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, helping girls to choose a dress, handbag, shoes, and jewelry.
